Owls Head Point

This painting is my impression of the iconic lighthouse atop OWLS HEAD POINT just off the Rockland Harbor in Maine.  I worked on hand-made Khadi (rough) watercolor paper which gives distinctive textures to the washes and blending of color. I'll be leading a group of plein air painters here in the fall of 2024 to capture the rough & tumble landscapes of Maine's central coast.
