Casa Bonita

The iconic Casa Bonita - a Mexican restaurant institution in Denver known for its cliff-divers and bottomless sopaipillas - was immortalized world-wide when it was featured as the topic of conversation in a "South Park" episode!  

As the New Year kicked off, a couple of us ventured out on a chilly day during the pandemic to paint paint this famous location.  Sadly, this past year saw it close forever - awaiting the uncertain fate of demolition. So glad to have been able to capture this historic setting despite the cold!  Hoping to get back and paint it once more in the sunshine.
