Deep Pool Still Water

Early spring morning plein air outing up Morrison Canyon. Hiked down from the highway to the rocks along Bear Creek, found a spot between riprap rapids where the water pools deeper, running still in the shadows of the steep canyon wall dropping straight into the creek.  On 300# Kilimanjaro Bright White CP paper.
