Guarding Cheeseman

This was an early plein air painting that i did in the rain under the canopy of my SUV's raised tailgate. I was in Cheeseman Park admiring the large mansions the circle the south end of Denver's Botanic Gardens. I called this "Guarding Cheeseman" as it seemed like a fortress overlooking the former mayor's park. It is in the collection of my good friend Debra Spencer.
