My neighbor decided to dig out his backyard to create a new walk-out patio. He had a large bucket earthmover come in to do the demolition and digging. I could hear the noise of its progress during the week, but on Saturday it sat quiet - a day of rest. Walking over to investigate, I realized it was sitting still, posing for me, so I set up my easel ad did a plein air painting of this monstrous machine
