07 - Evening Harbor (sanctuary) - $600

This painting was a study in "middle" distances, water reflections, capturing the mood of that magic moment just before dusk.  I was feeling the emotion of what I saw, and it spontaneously translated to my paper.  Painting this was a singularly fun experience --  I was so caught in the moment!  It was fast and loose and my brush ran free!
